Welcome to Lewitz

In the northeast of Germany former european champion and currently very succesful businessman Paul Schockemöhle created a remarkable empire of the modern horse breeding industry, unique to Europe.

Gestüt Lewitz was founded at the beginning of the 1990's by Paul Schockemöhle on a former cattle breeding station.  Nowadays, the stabling facilities comprise more than 30000 square meters plus an additional 3000 hectare grazing land, where 3500 horse feel at home and where 650 foals are born each year.

The stud is well-known to be the breeding facility where most talented licensing aspirants and riding horses are born from broodmares with promising and performance-orientated bloodlines.
